1.)  Bill Green

Many nicknames don't really offer insight as to the individual being described. Not so here... Bill Green, "The Barefoot Jeweler" really does forgo shoes whenever possible. This is not a habit unique to Bill alone; his smarter and better looking sister Annette also shuns footwear whenever possible (must be the genes). Bill's other sartorial aversion is neckties. He NEVER wears them. I'm not sure about Annette.
Bill's Dad was a jeweler, and Bill spent childhood summers traveling with his parents in the American Southwest, Mexico and Guatemala. He retains a keen knowledge of Southwestern jewelry, and some of his own designs reflect this. Bill also misspent part of his young adulthood as a "roadie" for a variety of rock performers. He occasionally remembers some of events of this period.
Bill's "out of the ordinary" dress and demeanor carries over to our mortar and brick store in Haddonfield, New Jersey. Our jewelry cases reflect Bill's eclectic taste, - displaying an interesting mix of items - some new, some estate, and some designed and manufactured by Bill himself. Our walls are decorated with mostly music memorabilia from the 50's through the 80's - everything from stage worn clothes (Michael Jackson, Tina Turner, Stevie Nicks) to iron-on "picture patches" from American Bandstand.
If you ask him what it is that he likes about the jewelry business (besides cashing checks), Bill will likely mention his relationships with his customers. Most of the folks who cross our threshhold have dealt with him for years, some through multiple generations. He laughs with them, commiserates with them, trades insults with them, and generally treats his patrons like his extended family. He actually does try to make them happy and always endeavors to treat them fairly. Over time, this "formula" has made for a loyal and satisfied clientele.
Retail has changed a great deal in the 30+ years that Bill has been involved in the jewelry business. Most independent "Mom and Pop" stores have given way to impersonal multi-location chains, all of which carry the same heavily advertised merchandise. We're still here servicing our customers, although a growing portion of these relationships with our family of customers are being forged via the internet. Be assured that regardless of whether you drive over to Haddonfield to see us in person or visit us at this site, you'll receive the same attention and honest value. Bill wouldn't have it any other way.

2.)  Tom Fried
We all know someone who enjoys taking things apart and putting them back together. The difference between most of these mechanically gifted souls and our Master Watch Maker, Tomb Fried, is that he (Tom) can actually put things back together after someone else has taken them apart. If you think doing that is easy - try it sometime!
Tom has been bringing wrist watches, pocket watches and clocks back from the dead for more than 35 years. The last half of this period has been in association with Bill (our very own Barefoot Jeweler). You’ll note that we use the term "WATCHMAKER" when referring to Tom. This is because his expertise goes well beyond the repair of rare and complicated timepieces. He expertly restores and even creates them. You can probably count the number of folks on the Eastern Seaboard who can duplicate what Tom can do using only the fingers of one hand (then again – you probably can’t!). It speaks volumes when very high end watch stores from New York, Auction
Houses, Luxury Watch Brokers, and some manufacturers worldwide, send their “difficult”, even “impossible” jobs to Tom here in Haddonfield, New Jersey (a small pre-colonial village in Southern New Jersey). His considerable skills are that rare. Our shop can even handle clock and music box restorations, too. Tom, ever the proud family man, has three grown sons, 3 grandchildren, and lives close to the shop with his loving wife
Our store carries a variety of pocket and wrist watches, many of which are vintage pieces. We usually have a nice selection of pre-owned Rolex wristwatches, repeating pocket watches, and many other vintage items on hand. We are official agents for Fortis, Luminox, Skagen, and Mondaine watches just to name a few. With the many years of experience in this trade our contacts are rather extensive if you are in the market for a quality new, unused, or pre-owned timepiece, give us a holler. (Actually a phone call or email work better…and saves on sore voices) We have access to an extensivevariety of makes and models.

3.)  Harvey Spelkoman
The gray haired elf in our group is Harvey Spelkoman, who has been on board since April, 2009 following a couple of decades in the insurance business. A native of Roosevelt, New Jersey, Harv is no longer working here, but he stops in to see how we're doing on occasion, and we love seeing him when he does! He has a classy wife from "down state" Illinois who introduced him to both opera and chicken fried steak, and two grown daughters who are responsible for every light colored hair on his head. His wish is to see his beloved Gophers in the Rose Bowl at least once before he dies. Please.

4.)  Chris Sikora
Chris Sikora is a Communications major and budding rock star from Mantua, New Jersey. He's been with JMX since January, 2009. Chris is really into music, old muscle cars, and vintage video games. We're hoping his band gets discovered, which means we will be in line to score backstage passes (at least it better!). In the meantime, Chris is listing stuff on ebay for Bill and working on our website.

5.)  Andrea Freitas
Do you know anyone with a highly infectious laugh? We do. Andrea Freitas has been with us since October of 2009, and one cannot hear her giggle without cracking a smile. A native of Somerdale, New Jersey, Andrea is one of those responsible for listing our extensive inventory on ebay. Known for her speed and accuracy, Andrea likely owes her ability at the keyboard to her love for video games, which she plays regularly with her husband, Paulo. She also enjoys reading, cooking, and "crafty type stuff."
