5/8 inch nickel silver circles on hypoallergenic surgical steel ear wires.

Rotorcaps are hand-made, using post consumer, recycled bottle caps collected from Philadelphia bars. It was also made in the spirit of following one's own heart.

Jen Roder has worked over the past seven years as a professional carpenter and woodworker. In both her jewelry and woodworking projects, Jen's interest in reusable objects has been a reoccurring theme. Her current use of bottle caps in jewelry was inspired by her interest of common symbols that have been injected into mainstream advertising. She found that by removing the symbol from the context of an everyday bottle cap the meaning is then transformed into a personal icon to be celebrated by the individual.
